The compact Barns are a very comfortable self contained space with an open plan King sized bedroom/ lounge. There is also a private shower room with local toiletries. Bedding and towels are provided. The fully fitted kitchen has an oven, fridge, and microwave. The lounge in the Grainstore opens out onto your own patio area with fantastic views across Black Crag Fell, the Low Barn has a patio with views towards Wetherlam, perfect for breakfast or sundowners. There is patchy wifi affected by weather. There is also an EV charging point for guests to use. However, you must inform us if bringing an EV and wish to use the charger. It is charged at twenty pounds per charge. We allow one dog in the Byre or two small dogs in Grainstore and Low Barn. Dogs are charged at twenty pounds per night per dog. Extra dog fees will be requested at time of booking. We can provide bike storage with prior arrangement.
The Lake District National Park is a World Heritage Site, and Elterwater Park is located in the most beautiful part of the area. The main farmhouse and barns are situated on the Cumbria Way, so you can walk from the door. The views are fantastic and at night, there is silence. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts with bike storage.
