Lovely location. Immaculately clean. Lovely rooms and very spacious. Will definitely be back to stop again. As its quite out the way we still managed to get a uber. Grounds were immaculate.

The area & b&b are stunning. A lovely smell throughout, lovely linen, towels and toiletries. Spotless clean. Breakfast was fab and Mel was so professional. The views were breathtaking and Arley is a hidden gem we will be back!!!

The 4 rooms I had book for myself and my bridal party were amazing!! The weather was 30 degrees and all the rooms had at least 2 fans in them. The continental breakfast was so delicious.

The Grange is situated with in Arley Estate, and is managed by the Arley Estate Team. Part of our wider operations includes an Arboretum and Gardens, local tearoom and a wedding and conferencing centre.

Property info

Surrounded by the picturesque Worcestershire countryside, The Grange is situated in the historic village of Upper Arley. Set in a Grade 2 listed property, our boutique rooms offer the perfect place to unwind in nature. Free Wi-Fi is provided in all bedrooms and communal areas, with complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities being available in each room. Rooms have been individually designed to feel calm and airy helping you to relax and breathe into your beautiful surroundings. We do offer a continental breakfast, and evening food can be enjoyed at The Harbour Inn (5 minute walk from the property) or for something a little more refined the very popular restaurant 'Dominques' is a short drive from the Grange. Please note The Grange is a self check-in property. Check in is anytime after 3pm, you will receive email or SMS information on how to collect your keys.

Neighborhood info

In the local area you can lose yourself in the scenic views of the Severn Valley and the Heritage Severn Valley Steam Line. If you fancy a day on the train, you can easily walk to Arley Station from the Grange. Arley Arboretum and Gardens sits on Arley Estate and is a short walk from the Grange. It boasts a wonderful tearoom serving homemade food using local ingredients and suppliers. Here you are surrounded by miles of walks including great access to the Arley Circular and North Worcestershire Way. In addition there is great cycling in the area with immediate access to Sustrans route 45 (also known as The Mercian Way), and lots of single track cycling in the Wyre Forest and surrounding areas. Other leisure activities in the area includes river fishing (your own licence is required) as well as easy access to the river in Arley Village for Canoeing and Paddle Boarding, and organised canoe trips from Bridnorth to Arley or Bewdley. Further afield, Kidderminster town centre is just a 10-minute drive away and features a wide selection of shops and an independent theatre. Bewdley riverside town is a 15 minute drive and features a lovely variety of independent shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants, a small museum and gardens as well a fantastic fish and chip shop on the river front! West Midland Safari Park is a 10-minute drive from the property as well. In addition to this, the lovely market town of Bridgnorth is a 15 minute Drive from the Grange, and as well enjoying beautiful architecture and independent shops and eateries, it also features 'England’s oldest and steepest inland electric funicular railway! There are a variety of National Trust and English heritage properties in the area as well.
