Amazing hotel with exceptionally friendly staff who are always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay even more special. The rooms were beautiful, and the view over the lake was absolutely stunning. Hearing the cathedral bells echo across the river was truly magical and added such a unique atmosphere to the experience. The food was excellent, and the welcome was just as impressive, with a lovely glass of bubbles on arrival that made us feel instantly at home. I would most definitely stay at Boutique by Browns again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.

The hotel was extremely festive, decorated for the holidays. The fires were lit in the lounge and bar, making for lovely spaces in which to have tea and drinks. The food in the restaurant and bar was very good. The spa was luxurious, and the services were done well. Parking is plentiful and convenient. The front desk staff was cheerful and helpful in all respects. The bathrooms were well-appointed. The housekeeping team made sure that we had plentiful towels, toiletries and coffee/tea supplies. We ran out in a rush one day of our stay leaving a terrible mess, and were pleasantly surprised to return to a cleaned and orderly room.

Perfect for relaxing and kicking back for a few days. Quiet afternoons in the lounge area or a drink and meal in the bar/restaurant, the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Staff were very welcoming and polite. Food in the Hook Restauarant was excellent as was the breakfast. Having stayed at dog friendly hotels in the past, the experience at The Fish takes it to a whole different level, our little dog also had a Pawsome stay.

Our one-night stay at Dumbleton Hall with my wife was truly wonderful and felt like stepping into the world of an English country manor house from the late Victorian or Edwardian era. Following its recent refurbishment and reopening on 2 April 2026, the hotel has managed to preserve a genuine sense of grandeur and character throughout. Approaching the manor is an experience in itself. As you drive gently uphill through the countryside, the magnificent Cotswold-stone house gradually appears at the top of the hill. Upon entering, the atmosphere immediately feels warm and timeless. Passing through the reception into the main hall, there was still the subtle scent of a recent chimney fire lingering in the air. It must feel especially magical in winter. The interiors are beautifully done, with a grand hall, an elegant library and bar, comfortable lounges, and a lovely terrace overlooking the grounds. The 19-acre gardens are classic English countryside at its best, with peaceful lawns and a beautiful pond. Walking there with my wife, I felt like the lord of the manor. We dined at Cedar 1905 and were very impressed. The Michelin-starred background of the team clearly shows in the quality of the food. The dishes were refined, balanced, and thoughtfully executed, with a modern touch whilst respecting classic foundations. The service throughout the hotel was excellent: professional, warm, and attentive. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. We stayed in the Junior Suite and liked it very much. The room was tastefully furnished with a lovely period feel. Overall, Dumbleton Hall does a remarkable job of preserving that classic English manor house atmosphere whilst still feeling welcoming and relaxed. We left already hoping to return.

We liked everything about this hotel! The location was great, room was pretty, clean & spacious. The area is lovely as we often visit here. There are some great facilities for all and with Worcester being a short drive its ideal. The local park is fantastic for kids having just been renovated, with an outdoor swimming pool and a nice little café there it's great. The canal is a really nice walk too which leads to a caravan site next to the moorings. Overall a lovely quiet place to visit.

Bewdley is a quaint little place with places to see and go too. Places like the West Midlands Safari park are not to far away. The wyre forest and it's walks are amazing and not to much travel to get to either. All in all a lovely place to visit. I would recommend the Mughouse for food, or the chip shop close by. Its a little bit congested for car travel, but if yiu like walking thrn it's a great experience.

We visited Kidderminster for family research purposes, as most of my ancestors worked in the carpet industry. Had a very interesting trip to the carpet museum, although it's only open twice a week. Did quite a bit of driving around the town looking for old properties/churches, which was pretty straightforward (with the satnav!}. Used the station for a trip to a show in Birmingham, which ran very smoothly. Had a nice meal at the Mare and Colt nearby.
