A cool house filled with Beatles memorabilia and lots of funky furniture and unique artwork. Very communicative owner. We had a few questions and he was very good about answering them ASAP. Only about 10 minutes from all the downtown attractions....

A fully restored Victorian town House nestled in the corner of a quiet residential areas - young families eaither side. All rooms have king sized beds fresh linnen and towels rooms 1 and 4 have a single bed as well. None of the bedrooms are en-suite - I need to state this clearly as this may not be clear from the photos. There are two bathrooms with toilets - both of a high standard - one I beieve to be one of the best in Liverpool / Uk !! Querky concept of furntiture and art - selling everything for the right price - some priced already -please ask more if you are interested when you stay. I also do bike hire enquire when you read this to book. I like to think I am an ambassidor for the city and local area - as it is great and just keeps giving and improving.
Hi I have lived in Liverpool most of my adult life - having lived in this house for 16 years. I love travelling and meeting new people and places. I have also stayed in many many places, hotels, b'n'b etc so I have a idea of what you need and don't want as guests. I will not for example come in and clean your room everyday (not sure how dirty a room can get in one night, I will also not leave the central heating on all night to ensure you are de-hydrated and feeling crap in the morning. I try to be the best host I can be and ensure your stay is enjoyable and memorable.
Well where do I start - I guess there are four destinations you can head for from the house - the most obvious being into the city - this can take 30 mins to walk to or buses take you every 10 mins from 300mts from the house. You can walk to Lark Lane (a trendy / hip place to eat and drink in) or Sefton Park from my house - the park is about 500mts away and Lark Lane about 1/2 a mile if that. You can walk down Arundel avenue to Smithdown Road - about 10 minutes walk, this is a up and coming student area littered with decent places to eat (about 20-30) and drink (about10). Then there is Lodge Lane - at the end of my road - this is where the local people of the area eat and shop. Some guests have likened it to parts of London - we call it 'L8 -the world in one postcode' - here you will find the cheapest and arguably the best take aways in Liverpool. There are also about six sit down cafes and restaurants and you may be the only white/European people eating there - in my book a sure sign the food is very good !
