Ambleside is an attractive small town of about 2500 people situated in the center of the Lake District National Park, about 1 mile from the head of Lake Winder mere. Ambleside is a perfect base for exploring the Lake District on foot, cycling or in your car or bus. When you have finished exploring during the day you can return to the b and b and after a hot shower you can walk to the many eateries available or watch a film or enjoy some live music. The atmosphere in Ambleside is welcoming and offers guest the opportunity to have a fantastic break and time to unwind and relax.
