The 2-floor guesthouse is a modern extension (built 2019) to a separate main house (built 1852). The ground floor has 2 bedrooms along with a bathroom/WC. The first floor is an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room with high ceilings, which opens up onto the terrace/garden area equipped with a hot tub/jacuzzi and a BBQ. The third bedroom is a compact loft room with two single beds, accessed via a ladder, therefore is not suitable for young children. The property is self-contained and has everything for a short stay. If needed, clothes washing/drying facilities can be used in the old house upon guest request.
We live with our young family in the separate original old house. We are both interior/spatial designers and this guesthouse is one of the projects we have worked on together.
Beach, Folkestone, Hythe, Sandgate, village pub, and countryside walks are either a short walk or a drive away. The property is a 10min drive away from the Eurotunnel terminal.
