As a family we’ve lived in Ollerton Village for over 30 years, running a B&B and Village Holidays’ holiday cottages, giving us a wealth of experience specialising in short term holiday rentals. Living a short walk away from our cottages in Ollerton and just two miles from Edwinstowe, we are more than happy to greet you on arrival or if you prefer, you can gain access to your holiday home with a key safe box at all of our properties. The Old Chapel Apartments Positioned on a beautiful village high street in the heart of Sherwood Forest, our two apartments are set within a renovated former Methodist Chapel and truly at the centre of village life. Proudly recognised with Silver (2025) and Gold (2026) at the Visit Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards for Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year, reflecting our commitment to quality and guest experience. Beautifully appointed and furnished in a luxurious modern style, each apartment sleeps up to four guests, making them perfect for couples wanting extra space or for families and friends holidaying together. The Old Chapel was originally built in 1848 and has undergone a full transformation, completed in March 2021. Luxuriously finished with 5m high ceilings to the first floor, restored original brickwork creating a modern loft-style aesthetic, and stunning 3.5m arched sash windows allowing natural light to flood the space (with blinds provided for comfort), these holiday homes are truly unique within this conservation area. Each mezzanine apartment features two bedrooms with modern en-suite bathrooms / wet rooms, a powder room, an open-plan living and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartments are right in the centre of Edwinstowe Village, located close to Newark in Nottinghamshire. An enviable location nestled in the heart of the village boasting very short walks to local pubs, superb restaurants and cafes.
