The Old Rectory, built in 1842, is a beautiful Norfolk Georgian former rectory offering elegant, comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of King’s Lynn. Our en-suite rooms are tastefully presented, comfortable and full of character, making The Old Rectory a lovely choice whether you are visiting for work, exploring the Norfolk coast, enjoying a short break, or spending time with family. We are child and pet friendly, and guests may meet our friendly dog and two cats during their stay. We want you to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Where possible, we will personally show you to your room, help you settle in, and share local tips, places to visit, walking routes, and dinner recommendations in King’s Lynn and the area. For guests who prefer extra flexibility, we also offer self check-in if required. Our digital code-operated locks allow easy access after 3pm, with earlier check-in available by special request where possible. During your stay, you will have the freedom to come and go as you please. The Old Rectory is within walking distance of King’s Lynn town centre, the train station, restaurants, shops and local attractions, while also offering easy access to business areas of the town. Guests can enjoy free off-street parking, secure undercover bicycle storage with fixed locking points, and electric bike charging facilities. Nearby places to visit include Lynn Museum, home to the famous Seahenge display, True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum, King’s Lynn Minster, the historic Custom House, the Corn Exchange, the Majestic Cinema and the Saturday Market Place. Castle Rising and Sandringham Estate are also just a short drive away and make excellent days out. For food and drink, guests have plenty of choice close by.
