The school house build around 1879 offers stunning views of the valley of Halifax and Huddersfield. We are located in semi rural location. We have great walks on your door step, which can lead to some great pubs and local amenities. You can relax in the country side with the added bonus of being close to all the main city/towns West Yorkshire has to offer.
Guests will expect Matthew and Lisa to respect their privacy however if needed for any help or advice will be happy to help and chat through any recommendations that they maybe interested in. Both take pride in providing a base location for their guests to have an enjoyable and peaceful stay.
The property is positioned in a delightful peaceful location with panoramic views that over look the semi rural happy valley. Its vicinity is hidden behind a low level community village hall meaning access provides privacy and access parking. Placed in the village of Sowood. Within walking distance to 3 local pubs and is on the door step to plenty of county side walks. Local buses run directly outside the property taking you to central Huddersfield or Halifax that provide train links to Leeds, Bradford and Manchester or if your looking to travel by car the location is a short 5 min drive to the M62 corridor.
Parking is free and plentiful. Guest can walk or use car/bike to near by shops.
