The management of the cottages is carried out by me (Emma). My husband Hugh and I, live in Moor Farm House, we will aim to welcome you soon after you have settled in. I am contactable if you should need anything at all, my number is in the welcome folder in the cottage, please do contact me if there is anything you need during your stay.

Property info

One of four beautifully restored barn conversions located within Moor farm, set in idyllic countryside only 1/2 mile from the picturesque village of Godshill. Get away from it all, with walks & a cycle path literally on your doorstep! On the farm we have poultry & pigs, which provide wholesome entertainment for children and adults alike! The cottage is well equipped, you have your own private garden & in the colder months you can get cosy indoors alongside the wood burning stove.

Neighborhood info

Godshill is a well located picturesque village in the heart of the Island making it a great place to explore the Island from. The immediate area is also full of delights from the model village in Godshill to the walk to Free Mantle gate. Moor farm is located on the Red Squirrel trail which is a cycle path there are also numerous walks right on your doorstep. You can walk to the village in 10 minutes, where there are pubs/cafes/gift shops and a small grocers/post office. Moor farm is down a well maintained track - approx 1/2 mile from the main road. There is a bus stop located at the end of the track with good links around the island. Godshill is fairly central, so access to any part of the island is not more than a 30 minute drive away. Please note, public transport on the island is fairly irregular in certain areas so unless you have no time pressures we would recommend that you bring a car.
