A brand new stable conversion - very cosy, with ambience TV, free WiFi, high quality fixtures and fittings. The Stable is a detached property on a small croft (we have sheep, dogs and cats), we are pet friendly but we do ask for dogs to be on a lead when leaving The Stable. Patio doors lead onto a private decking area with seating, overlooking peaceful countryside views. There is an area for free parking, as well as a private detached garden with bbq. Rest assured our windows won’t overlook your private garden, as these are for the spare/empty rooms in our house. At The Stable, there is very little light pollution to see the stars at night. Located just half a mile south from the town of Wick in Caithness (4th left leaving Wick with an air bnb sign at the end of our drive). There is a footpath from The Stable into wick. I am available if you have any questions, or need anything to make your stay here more comfortable. There's a utility attached to The Stable for your use; it has a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing facilities, toilet and sink. There is also a clothes line in the utility (or our own garden for larger items) if you wish to use it.

I have always enjoyed meeting and working with people whether its been in retail, bars or restaurants, so I am grateful to have this opportunity to 'work' and meet folks travelling this far north. It is rural, located half a mile from the coastal town of Wick. There is much to see and do in Caithness; beaches, forests, castles, harbours, trails, great places to dine, fantastic heritage museum in Wick, distillery’s, then of course John O Groats and Dunnet head are just two of many great days out - around 20 miles from here. Orkney ferry takes only an hour to cross and you could easily do a day trip there whilst you stay here. I am available and will be happy to help you with any arrangements .
