The Waterings is a family owned property, since the Chant family has owned the site since 1982 it has been a Sea Aquarium, then a B&B and now a room only accommodation. (Although we have a small area where you can grab light breakfast items) It’s managed by Will who is the Coxswain of St Davids Lifeboat Station.

Welcome to The Waterings, we are a quality, room only accommodation, situated on the edge of St Davids, Pembrokeshire. Our location is easy to find, just off the main A487 into St Davids, yet set back far enough that its quite and peaceful. The city centre is only a short walk away and the Pembrokeshire National Park Visitor Centre (Oriel yr Parc) is next door. Our accommodation consists of 5 well appointed, en-suite rooms, set around an attractive courtyard. We are open all year. Please note: We operate on self-check-in basis at The Waterings, if you haven’t received these instructions prior to your arrival please call the property on the day you are due to arrive.

Neighborhood info

St Davids is the little gem in the North Western County of Pembrokeshire. Quiet and secluded in the winter by spring it becomes a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts. We have some of the best walks you'll find around the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, numerous other outdoor pursuits such as surfing, coaststeering, kayaking, rock climbing, cycling, can all be done from here. On top of that we have Ramsey Island RSPB reserve just offshore here and can be visited via boat and of course our very own 800 year old world famous cathedral.
