Such a lovely place to stay and Steve was such a gent. Had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. The building is gorgeous. Steve really cares about his guests and myself, husband and pup got a lovely warm welcome.

We were walking the Ferns, Wexford to St David's...

We were walking the Ferns, Wexford to St David's Pembrokeshire Pilgrims Way and, after enjoying being in Southern Ireland, we crossed from Rosslare to then walk the Pembrokeshire coast path to St David's. I can thoroughly recommend The Gourmet Pig for their coffees and pastries!

Fishguard is a very friendly and charming hilltop town,...

Fishguard is a very friendly and charming hilltop town, sited between the port villages of Goodwick and Lower Town - but with a long, steep climb to return to the town centre from either of them. It hosts a foll festival in late May and a jazz festival at the end of August - both very welcoming and enjoyable. And the history of the last invasion of Great Britain in 1797 is evident everywhere - in its historic buildings and in the remarkable tapestry on display in the Town Hall-cum-Library.

Fishguard is a great little coastal town with a good mix of independent shops, bars and restaurants as well as a decent sized supermarket. The harbour at Lower Town is lovely. Beautiful beaches, rugged coastlines and stunning scenery are all within easy reach.

An interesting town across the bay from the property with...

An interesting town across the bay from the property with reasonably priced car parking and within fairly easy walking distance. An interesting cinema/theatre and a good range of shops and eating places. An interesting history of events. St. David’s and Tenby were interesting places within an hour’s drive.

We liked the path along the coast, we just had a bit of a problem figuring out a hike for the kids, i.e. 6-10 km. We used a bus from Dinas Cross once to get back from the trip (beware, it doesn't run on Sundays). Apparently seals are sometimes seen on the cliffs behind Harbour Village...

Great litt;e town, with friendly locals and good choice of pubs, shops, eateries and things to do. Close to several local attractions and staying in town it is a short walk to anywhere! Picturesque coast and lovely countryside.

The apartment was absolutely lovely, exactly the same as the photos on bookings.com. The location is excellent, just a short walk into Fishguard. Communication from George prior and just before our stay was brilliant. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you need away from home and a great view. George very kindly left us a brilliant welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely book again if we came back to Fishguard.

What a location! I'm from rural Wales — Anglesey — and this was similar, but more remote; narrow lanes, gorgeous landscape, silence. Loved the vestry where we stayed, so pretty. And the famous Dyffryn Arms (Bessie's) is a few yards away (cash only, no food). It really is wonderful, and you feel away from the world: no shops (Fishguard is 15 minutes away), no noise, just peace and tranquility.

Location was perfect for walking the coastal path and visiting Fishguard. We had a lovely view from our room over the harbour and it was great that two easy chairs were available. Sue & Mike were very welcoming and the accommodation was clean and comfortable.
