The Wheelhouse is a small self contained chalet in the garden of the main property, completely rebuilt during the 2020 lockdown. It has a real nautical feel, with staircase like you would find on a large yacht or cruiser. The property is only 80 metres from the beach and 350 metres from the Town Centre. There is on-road parking without restrictions. Bedding and towels are provided. Pets allowed if they are well behaved and used to staying on the floor.

I have now retired, having been in retail most of my life, within the town of Southwold. I have a very busy lifestyle with my family and enjoy making things to sell at farmers markets and country fairs. I now live alone and enjoy welcoming guests in my small, but well equipped, self contained garden house. I am accessible in the main house or by phone 08:00hrs - 22.00hrs to ensure your comfort and for answering any queries. Emergencies at any time of course. There is so much to do within walking distance of the property, transport is not necessarily required, as Southwold has a shuttle bus. There are many places to eat in the Town, all within 350m and plenty of activities all within a 20 minute walk:- An 18 hole Golf Course, Putting Green, Crazy Golf, Sailing Club, Fishing which includes, Beach, River and Boat, also Freshwater Lakes 1 mile away. River cruises, Power boat Sea blasts, Surf school, Walking and Cycling. There is a shuttle bus that runs regularly around the extremities of the town.
