The White Lion, which is owned and run by the Holmes family, is a beautifully renovated village pub with six luxury B&B ensuite rooms and an AA rosette winning pub, just a little more than your traditional countryside pub.
Situated on the Southern side of the Isle of Wight, we are lucky to be surrounded by rolling hills and picturesque beaches. We are in the heart of a quaint village, with all the amenities you need, including a local shop, post office and a handful of restaurants and pubs.
If you’re a lover of walking, we’re prime location to set off and find some of the most beautiful island views. The Southern side of the Island is well known for its stunning views of the Needles, chalk white cliffs and vast amounts of farmland. One walk we recommend all our nature loving guests enjoy during their stay is a hike up to St. Catherine’s Oratory, known to the locals as the ‘Pepper pot’, which is one of the highest parts of the Island and the only medieval lighthouse left in England.
