After living and working abroad, travelling extensively when single, married and as a family I have settled in Ballycastle with my husband to enjoy a calmer and simpler way of life. We fell in love with Tornaroan Cottage the moment we saw it, the view blew us away and the old Irish cottage is a rare find here so and after buying it we decided to renovate to share it with others We have rented loads of places ourselves, some we liked, some we didn't, some were wonderful a few were disasters! This is a beautiful area right on the north coast of Northern Ireland in an area of outstanding natural beauty called the Causeway Coast and Glens. It has so many places nearby like National Trust properties, Game of Thrones filming locations, Golf courses, Bushmills, Belfast and of course the stunning Causeway Coast road ( voted one of the most scenic drives in the world by Lonely Planet) that you could easily spend a week based here visiting the whole of Northern Ireland all within a three hours drive. Ballycastle is a quiet little town with a beautiful beach (only minutes away from the cottage) and very popular with families or for an ice cream on a Sunday afternoon and ideal for golfing, tennis, cycling and walking.
