Perfect cottage to snuggle up in the evening and perfect location for exploring. Only stayed 1 night but would love to return again! Reminded me of family members homes from when I was wee so that brought a tear- but in good way!

Milk and homemade cake were left for us. We enjoyed tea and cake while watching one of the many dvd options. This place has everything necessary for a short or long stay.

Delightful, listed, 250 year old thatch cottage named after the famous explorer Eduardo-Alfred Martel is famous for charting Marble Arch cave system. Local Folklore claims that Martel resided within this beautiful cottage in 1895 during his Caving adventures. Suitable for walkers, climbers & fishermen. The cottage is heated by oil and lovely range cooker. With an electric fire in the lounge. Please be aware that the cottage does not have WiFi or terrestrial tv, but has a tv and dvds.
We will not be present during your stay. We intend to be 100% hands off. We live locally so any problems please give us a call.
Rolling Irish Limestone countryside with amazing walks and climbing all local. Some of the local caves ware used during the Filming in game of Game of Thrones. Saturated with history , caves and fantastic walks. Car, bicycle, walking.
