Newly renovated terraced cottage with modern facilities located 2 miles from Machynlleth. A local pub with excellent food is located meters away from the cottage. Facilities within the cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, TV in living area and bedroom, and a large bathroom with shower.
I was born in Derwenlas and still currently live in the area where I have raised my four children. I am a fluent Welsh speaker and very knowledgeable about the area. My personal interests are walking and photography, and I'd be more than happy to suggest local walks and areas to visit.
A small village which is situated 2 miles to the nearest town of Machynlleth, which is the ancient capital city of Wales. There is a convenient foot/cycle path or an hourly bus to either Machynlleth / Aberystwyth/Dolgellau. This is a perfect location to access our most spectacular beaches - Ynyslas, Borth, Aberdyfi and Tywyn. There is also a public footpath directly from the cottage which takes you to the Dyfi Osprey Centre, there are also car charging facilities at the osprey centre with a lovely café, if you wiah to charge your vehicle The area is renowned for its cycling routes and mountain biking experiences, with Dyfi Bike park only a few miles away.
