Wake up with Wallabies is a converted glamping horsebox, bee themed in a private paddock within an animal sanctuary. Inside you will find a large double bed room, with bedding included, hanging space and usb charging to the right and to the left a cute living area with small pull out bed for a child under 5 (a travel cot can also be provided), both include bedding. The kitchenette has a fridge, kettle and a sink so perfect for those hot chocolates or lunch making times. We provide a welcome basket ensuring some necessities are there plus a few more luxurious too! You are situated within your own private gated paddock opposite the wallaby & Rhea field (food can be supplied if you would like to feed them). Outside you will find a personal use shower room with hot shower, toilet & sink, just bring your own towels. The paddock also has an outside kitchen fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans, a sink and a gas hob, oven and grill for those yummy camping type breakfasts. 1 disposable BBQ is supplied per visit. All proceeds from the bee themed horsebox go to the sanctuary animals care.

We are animal lovers. We built and ran a licensed zoo for 10 years, Grenville being the expert kept birds from age 11 and this passion saw him help other licensed zoos with the licensing & Defra paperwork. We had to close the sanctuary in the format it was in due to rising costs and lack of visitors to maintain it, so downsized to just the sanctuary animals we promised a home for life to. These days we have a secure dog paddock, offer bird boarding & beauty treatments and the glamping horsebox, these all keep the sanctuary animals in their forever homes. Anita's background was cheer/dance & finance & sadly after having to take ill health retirement from the NHS back in 2021 now helps run the admin side of Wingz as her health allows. Grenville after a few years also working for the NHS is back full time caring for the birds & animals & caring for both Anita & Kian as needed. We are a neuro spicy family, very friendly and the animals are our passion.

It is 0.8mile walk or drive to Tywardreath village which has a great pub that serves amazing food and a very well stocked village shop. A few steps away you will find part of the saints way walk, we have many great walks from here, including fab sea views once up the hill a short way. This is a country lane setting on an animal sanctuary, so bird sounds and animal noises are def part of the experience. We are 2 miles from Par beach, Par has many great pubs & cafes too, 5.9mls from the Eden project, 12mls from The lost gardens of Heligan, 12mls to Mevagissey, 3.8 mls to Fowey & 3.7 to Lostwithiel. Colwith farm gin distillery & cafe is 2.2mls away and def worth a visit, St Austell Brewery is 7.1mls away & for you cider lovers Healeys Cornish cyder farm is 28 mls away and a firm favourite. Takeaways we have lots of choices close by, Chinese, kebabs, Indian and if you prefer the types of maccies or kfc these are in both St Austell 8mls or Bodmin 8.8mls.
