Company info

Our team at West Loch House love to welcome visitors and provide home from home relaxed comfort for our guests. We have many years experience working in hospitality and we took over West Loch House (which was formerly a hotel) in October 2020, refurbishing and opening the doors to guests in summer 2021. We have enjoyed welcoming tourists and workers to stay and we have had a great response from our guests with many repeat visits.

Property info

West Loch House is a former coaching Inn and the main building dates back to the 18th century. It has stunning views to the front over west Loch Tarbert and the hills beyond. West Loch House is very much our family home and we offer a warm welcome to everyone. Over breakfast you can enjoy spotting a range of birds feeding on the fish in the loch and in the evenings there are deer that come down to feed at the roadside. We are very handy for the Islay ferry and a good base for exploring the Mull of Kintyre and the new Kintyre 66.

Neighborhood info

West Loch House is situated at the head of West Loch Tarbert beside the A83. It is handy for ferry links to Islay, Arran, Gigha and Portavadie. The house is at the gateway to the new Kintyre 66.
