White Pond Farm is a working farm set in the scenic Chiltern Hills, it has been farmed by the Stracey family since 1937 in 2004 we decided to convert the old parlour into two holiday cottages, "Bullrush" and "Cowslip", along with the wing of the house which after many hours of debate we called "The Wing" . All our cottages offer everything you could need from a holiday home and if we have missed something all you have to do is ask and we shall see what we can do. Being a working farm means you can have a look round, but please be careful, stroke the friendly calves and have fresh eggs for breakfast whilst watching the deer in Stonor Park (for guests in Bullrush and Cowslip" or the beautifully maintained walled garden if you are in The Wing. Bullrush and Cowslip are both single storey cottages with oak flooring and exposed beams, they have been tastefully decorated to create a airy but homely feel that will make you feel relaxed as soon as you enter. Bullrush is equipped with a wet room whereas Cowslip has a bath with an overhead shower. The Wing is two storey with large bedrooms overlooking the gardens and a comfortable cosy living area with log burner!
Lindy has always been a fantastic welcoming host and will ensure that you have a great stay with us at White Pond, we are happy to get some shopping in for you before your stay and where possible will be welcomed by fresh flowers from the garden. Lindy has ensured that the cottages have personality with the decorations.
Stonor although in the heart of the Chilterns is in a fantastic position for visiting Oxford, Windsor, day trips to the Cotswolds' and of course Henley-on-Thames. We have an English country house just opposite which holds events from craft fairs to supercar days so worth looking at Stonor Parks website to see what's going on. The area is also great for walkers with many beautiful routes for you to explore, some even end up at our local pub The Crown Inn. We are in a quiet location with clear star filled skies but civilization is only a short drive away,
