Two large gardens with stunning views of Strangford Lough, the property is on a private lane and is very quiet. The house is the first on the right There is ample parking on both drives
There are steps to the front door, so not suitable for a wheel chair user.
I have extra pillows and guilts if needed. There are numerous cafes serving breakfast in the area, or I can provide croissants on request if leaving early.
Electric kettle in the room, plus a flatscreen TV with plenty of channels.
Brand new bathroom with electric shower. I have plenty of extra towels if needed.
I have travelled widely around Europe on holiday and I would be delighted to welcome guests to beautiful Portaferry.
There are many visitor attractions in the area including Mount Stewart, Castle Ward ( featured in Game of Thrones) Audleys Castle, Kearney Village, Knockinelder Beach, Greyabbey and the Orange Tree wedding venue.
I lived in England for 30 years, working in London.
I am a member of Ulster Wildlife, the RSPB, CAMRA and Portaferry in Bloom. I enjoy gardening, bird watching, cycling and pub quizzes.
Windmill Hill is the most beautiful area of scenic Portaferry. Stunning views of Strangford Lough Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Portico Arts Centre is a few minutes walk away.
Easy access to the ferry across the Lough to the small town of Strangford and Castle Ward National Trust Property.
Greyabbey village, the Orange Tree wedding venue and the ancient Abbey are a 15 minute drive away.
Beautiful Mount Stewart National Trust Property is 20 minutes drive
Kearney Village, Ballyquinton Farm and Knockinelder Beach National Trust areas are all a short drive away.
