2 self contained bedrooms with own private garden in a beautiful, peaceful old mill in the Forest of Dean, tucked away in its own valley surrounded by trees and bordered by its own stream with lots of beams and character. We welcome up to 2 dogs. Contactless check in. Apartment all on one level. Free wifi for guests. Sleeps up to 4. Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has twin beds. The apartment does not have a separate kitchen but there is a a kettle, microwave, toaster, small fridge and dining/breakfast table for guests to use with local amenities/takeaways 5 minutes away and a pub within walking distance. Guests have their own separate entrance and parking space with a private outside seating area and garden with wonderful views of the fields . Come and watch our rare bats at dusk and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. There is a short video of the apartment on YouTube if you search for Woodmill Farm Self Contained Accommodation.

We look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful, peaceful and unspoilt area. It truly is a little bit of paradise. We have a huge array of animals living in the woods opposite - badgers, foxes, deer, wild boar, muntjacs, buzzards and red kites to name a few. And if you love mountain biking you are in for a real treat as the local mountain biking centre is very close and fantastic for beginners and experienced riders. There are wonderful walks straight from the property and many, many more further afield.

This is a perfect base for exploring the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Bristol, Cardiff or the Welsh coast as well as many of the other local tourist attractions including local castles, Tintern Abbey and National Trust properties. We are surrounded by spectacular scenery and an abundance of wildlife. Our guests enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of the Forest of Dean and many walks and activities it offers including fantastic dogs walks and mountain bike trails. We are 15 minutes from the bike centre - pedal a bike away Guests love the many walks directly from the property and the beautiful rural views.
