Wonderful, peaceful location with fabulous views yet only a short drive from all necessary amenities in Goodwick. The property was clean and cosy. Lots of little extras and personal touches. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Company info

Stones Cottages is a family run business. We are trying to create a place where people can come on holiday whilst having a minimal environmental impact. The holiday cottages have been lovingly created by us from the ruins of an 18th century agricultural courtyard. Each cottage has been renovated using a mixture of traditional and environmentally friendly techniques to create architecturally beautiful and unique holiday cottages. In addition, we have tried to keep the environment as toxin free as possible with the use of plant based paints, lime plasters and mortars, working in concert to create peaceful, warm, comfortable green holiday cottages in harmony with the environment. All the water comes from our own borehole and is regularly tested, it requires no treatment and is possibly the purest water in Pembrokeshire. Most of all, we hope we have created a place where you can enjoy a green holiday with all comforts and considerations. Pembrokeshire is a popular tourist attraction and has much to satisfy a diverse range of tastes. There is far too much to list everything to do in the local area, but loads of information can be found at the Pembrokeshire Tourist Information Centres. Below are a few of our favourite things. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. One of the most spectacular coastal walks in the country and one of the most dramatic sections is all but a 30-minute walk from the cottage. Wild flower and Bird Watching With its national park and conservation areas, coastlines, offshore islands (teeming with puffins, razorbills, shearwaters, storm petrels and chough) and the Pembrokeshire hedges the area is a popular destination for nature lovers. Foxgloves, pink campion, snowdrops, woodland carpets of bluebells, gorses and heathers are to name but a few of the many flowers. These are also the hunting grounds for the buzzards and peregrine falcons that inhabit the area. Seal Watching September and October are the best months to see the...

Workshop Cottage is a comfortable, eco cottage sleeping six people in three comfortable bedrooms on Strumble Head. Surrounded by the Pembrokeshire countryside and close to the Pembrokeshire coast path. Guests are free to wander the flower meadows, rich in biodiversity, enjoy the sunsets, and star filled skies. Ideal for walkers, families, and people seeking peace and quiet. Guests have access to a car charger, and you are welcome to bring up to two well-behaved dogs.

Neighborhood info

We are situated on Strumble Head in North Pembrokeshire, where the holiday cottages form part of an 18 acre smallholding which is managed using organic principles, with an emphasis on wildlife and biodiversity. Stones Cottages boasts views across green fields, from where the dramatic cliffs of the Pembrokeshire coastal path descend to the small coves and beautiful beaches that make this part of the British Isles so magical. The sometimes peaceful, sometimes dramatic beauty of the area is home to an abundance of wildlife. From the Atlantic grey seal, to colourful purple heathers, numerous species of seabirds, and the beautiful, year-round yellow gorse that adorns the surrounding fields and cliff tops, Pembrokeshire is a haven for those who love the natural world. A number of footpaths lead from the holiday cottages to the coast and surrounding villages. In addition, you are also welcome to wander the land of the smallholding on which the cottages are located, old Llandruidion Farm, and say hello to the animals. A blazing fire, beautiful sunsets, stunning countryside, vibrant wild flowers and a warm welcome all await you.
