The cottage is nested next to the Gortskali River where it is inhabited by a range of wild life from touts, beavers, frogs to a wide varieties of birds in an eco-friendly environment. The first thing one will notice upon arrival is the quality of air which sets it apart from the cities. The dense alpine forest forms the backdrop of the wild landscape, creating a carbon negative environment that is both soothing, reviving and separating the mundanes from the hustle & bustle. The A-frame cottage is beautifully decorated with Scandinavian inspired furnishings giving one a welcoming, warm and relaxing experience. There are hammocks, BBQ facility and a well lit garden that extends out into the nature creating a coexistence with the wild. For adventure and outdoor seekers, one can take a short hike about 1.5km to the Kidobana cave or take a brief walk to the famous Shaori Lake. Fishing enthusiast will not be left out too, the lake offers rich underwater inhabitants like Brown Trout, Carp, Lake Trout and even Lake Whitefish. The next attraction is perhaps spending time with nature, exploring the rich and dense Nordman Fir (Christmas Tree) alpine forestry. When one comes to Racha, food is another area to explore! Rachuli Lori – a type of smoked and cured boneless pork which is unique to the village. The famous Khavanchkara wine is another local specialty that is highly recommended!
