Archanes Residences are situated at one of the most beautiful villages in Crete, the village of Archanes. Archanes is situated in a marvelous rural landscape, with vineyards covering the sides of the valley all the way to the village. In the centre of the village and in walking distance our guests can find the main square with a variety of cafeterias, taverns/restaurants, shops, markets etc. Just 9 kilometres from the village, our guests can visit Knossos, the largest and most brilliant centre of the Minoan civilisation. "Nikos Kazantzakis" International Airport is 15 kilometres away and the closest beaches are approximately 12 kilometres away. In simple words, our property is situated in the heart of the Prefecture of Heraklion that a visitor will have the chance to see and get to know the real life of a truly beautiful traditional Cretan village while at the same time the lively city centre of Heraklion in just 15-20 minutes drive.
