This is not a rental. This is a living work of art. It began with a family’s love for wood, art, and design, and a way of seeing passed down from my father, a master furniture craftsman, who taught me that every space deserves something made exactly for it. I carried that forward and shaped every corner of this property by hand, where every structure, every piece of furniture, and every detail was created specifically for the place where it lives. Nothing was placed randomly and nothing came from a catalogue, only rare reclaimed materials, patience, and intention.
Set in complete privacy on a 1,000 sq m plot in Ratzakli, this handcrafted wooden retreat overlooks the endless blue of the Ionian Sea and Zakynthos on the horizon, just 3 minutes from Kaminia Beach, offering rare access to one of Kefalonia’s most beautiful shores while remaining fully immersed in silence, nature, and sky. The 35 sq m home was built entirely from scratch by the owner, continuing a lifelong family tradition in craftsmanship, with every element handmade from reclaimed materials that give the space warmth, texture, and soul.
Inside, the open-plan layout brings together a cozy yet refined living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a queen-size anatomical latex bed positioned facing a large glass opening that fills the home with natural light and uninterrupted sea views. The bathroom offers full modern comfort with shower, sink, toilet, and storage, and includes a unique sculptural sink carved from a single piece of millions-year-old petrified wood.
Outside, the experience continues as a natural extension of the home, where the Karo, an elevated handcrafted pavilion, becomes the place for sunrise breakfasts and sunset dinners above the Ionian Sea, while the Sky Bed, a hand-carved outdoor canopy bed beneath the trees, opens directly to the sea and sky for rest or sleeping under the stars. A sculptural open-air shower built from a tree trunk with wooden privacy doors faces the Ionian horizon
I come from a family deeply rooted in wood, art, and craftsmanship. My father is a furniture artist, and from him I inherited not just skill, but a way of seeing spaces as living stories shaped with patience, intention, and soul.
Through my work in film production as a location manager, I travel across Greece in search of unique landscapes and hidden settings. Each place I discover reshapes the way I see, feel, and create.
I continue shaping the house my mother left me not by changing its essence, but by adding handcrafted elements that belong to it, designed to deepen the experience of the space in harmony with its light, its view, and its sense of privacy.
I am originally from Kefalonia, and as a child I used to spend my summers here, playing on this very land where everything now exists. That connection is part of what gives the place its meaning.
The space is alive and constantly evolving, shaped slowly over time, with new details added year after year.
From every corner, the view changes. The light changes. The feeling changes. It is not just a place, it is an experience with soul, energy, and presence.
This is not a rental. It’s a way of living.
