"One of the most beautiful towns we have been in, on any island in Greece! Lots of pretty shops and great restaurants. Lots of places to enjoy a cocktail at night too! Very accommodating to tourists everyone speaks English! Very “touristy” though - so I would recommend avoiding during high season (July and August) if you can. We went in June and it was super hot 32° and the beaches were not as crowded. We stayed in Argostoli, but we toured the whole island -You absolutely need a car ! Best place we ate was Ladokolla a taverna that specializes in grilled meats and serves the food on paper placemats (no plates) we never had food so delicious! You must try it ! We had an amazing time ."

"Skala is full of nice restaurants and bars. The beaches are big and well organised however, if you are looking for an authentic Greek experience then this is not the place. I would recommend Skala for a three or four day visit combined with other locations around Kefalonia."

"Sami gave me what I wanted, small, quiet resort but with plenty of restaurants, cafes and a few shops/ bakeries. Fatto a Mano has the best spanikopita! Scenery was beautiful, harbour very pretty. The beach is narrow but water is very clean and great for a swim (no facilities on beach)"

"Been to Kefalonia twice before but enjoyed Lixouri far more than Skala or Lassi. Lovely laid back feel to the seafront restaurants on an evening. Good selection of restaurants and bars. Was cheaper to eat out than cooking for yourself. Highly recommended. Hired a boat for 2 half days to explore around the bay and found private coves etc."

"Fiskardo is a beautiful place. The harbor area is quaint and filled with restaurants and little boutiques. There are supermarkets which have plenty of options.The beaches are pebble but so beautiful. There are lots of activities for water enthusiasts. We rented a small boat big enough for 5 and went out for the day. Really reasonable and if you arre a confident boater, well worth doing. We were able to go over to Ithaca to a lovely beach which had food and refreshments and stop in little coves to swim and snorkel. The area around Fiskardo is hilly so be aware if you’re walking and not driving. It is easy to reach lots of pretty beaches by car. One of our favorite places to eat was Mirellas, not in the harbor, just a few minutes drive. The food was great and the view is lovely. The locals are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this beautiful place."

"Nice small village, right on the sea, nice choice of restaurants, good food. nice as a base to see other areas on southern part of Island and nice to be there for the evenings and to relax and walk to restaurants and bars. Great to sit in restaurants next to the beach/sea to eat at night, very relaxed atmosphere , nice staff in all restaurants we visited. Our small hotel was lovely and we enjoyed swimming in the sea each day after our travels and before breakfast. Busy enough but not crowded. All in all lovely relaxing break."

The location was great as the hotel was minutes away from Petani Beach and 15mins from Ammos Beach. Myrtos was a little farther due to the closure of the Winter Bridge. Repair in progress, not sure when this route will be open. Hotel is new so everything functioned as designed. Heating worked great as a few of the nights it was cold so we turned on the Heating for 30mins to warm up the Suite. Kitchenette was perfect for preparing a light dinner if you don't want to drive out to eat. Good size balcony with a table to enjoy some wine while watching the sunset. WiFi was stable and fast. Pool was open but it was still a little cold to jump in. Even though, the hotel was next to the road, it was quiet when a car passes by. At night, the area is quiet except for the occasional barking dogs from the neighboring houses. The Breakfast area is still under construction so Breakfast was provided in the suite every morning. Most importantly, the Owner, Ilias was very helpful with local information and reply promptly to questions via WhatsApp. Many thanks Ilias for letting us enjoy your new hotel. We look forward to returning at the end of Summer so that we can swim at Petani and Ammos Beaches!

We loved our stay. There was inside storage space for our tandem bike. Our room was upgraded at no extra charge. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed with quality pots and pans. The view was excellent and there was a patio. We were even able to do laundry.

We liked absolutely everything! The villa was beautiful, spacious, very well decorated in a modern design, with equipped kitchen. We had a bottle of nice local wine left waiting for us as a compliment when we arrived. The bed was super comfortable. We loved the big terrace with the table and chairs, and also the one with the pool, sunbeds and chill zone on the grass. There are beautiful flowers - lavender, eucalyptus, banana and others, that make the atmosphere even more pleasant. What impressed us also was the speaker/audio system, where we could play music outside through our phones. The service was at a high level, the villa was cleaned every day. And the staff is extremely nice, friendly and ready to help you with whatever you need to feel good. Thank you for the wonderful stay, Erolidae villas, we will definitely be back!

We were amazed by the staff, there was nothing to big or small, from the moment we walked in until we left 3 days later they were constantly making our stay wonderful. Special mention to Martine and Dimitris, also to the reception team and coffee maker. Breakfast was excellent every day, and the spa facilities at Casaly were perfect for us. We cannot more highly recommend Canale, Casaly and Costa Costa beach club. Thank you all so much!
