The Bougainvillea Retreat is a welcoming hideaway set amongst olive and fruit trees close to the traditional village of Kalythies in the hills above Faliraki. It offers open views down to the sea, plentiful natural light, and a relaxed sense of space. With two terraces and beautiful outlooks across the countryside, it’s a lovely place to enjoy slow mornings, outdoor dining, and the changing colours of Rhodes from it's stunning terraces and private garden. The location offers easy access to beaches, villages, and the wider island, while still feeling connected to nature and village life. Ideal for guests who appreciate views, authenticity, and a comfortable base from which to explore Rhodes. (Car hire is recommended).

The village of Kalythies is a 10 minute walk from the property and has a village bakery, small supermarkets, cafe/bars, a traditional meze restaurant and a pharmacy. Faliraki with its stunning sandy beaches and wide variety of nightlife, shops and restaurants is a 20 minute walk away, or a 5 minute drive. Located on the east coast, the property provides easy access to the famously beautiful Anthony Quinn bay, Tsambika beach with it's variety of watersports and the unspoilt Afandou coastline. The historical and picturesque village of Lindos with it's sandy beaches and ancient acropolis is a 30 minute drive away and the mediaeval old town of Rhodes can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
