Casa Bianca is a brand-new apartment completed in Oct 2023. It is situated in the top floor of a brand-new three-storey building, located in Vyronas, one of the flattest areas of Kavala. The apartment has an area of c.90sam and it is composed of a large living room-kitchen, one bedroom, one sofita (attic)-bedroom with a low-height bathroom embedded and two balconies looking into the mountains, in the front and back views of the building (διαμπερες). There is also sea view through a small window and a small auxiliary balcony in the Sofita (attic). Entrance to the apartment is made directly through an elevator by using a password to be shared with you upon check in. The floor has been made by marble from Volakas (from nearby «Falakro mountain»), the kitchen has been made from oak, while electricity is provided through photovoltaic panels on the roof. The apartment provides both heating (through panels powered by a heating pump) and air condition in all rooms. There are also alarm and fire detection systems. As a result of the many openings and positioning of the advantageous building, the apartment is full of light from early morning till late afternoon.

This brand-new apartment belongs to my cousin, Theodore too, a real estate professional and MIT graduate, who wanted to re-develop the plot that belonged to his grandparents, Niki and Christos. Casa Bianca has been accredited with the highest sustainability standards (energy class A+, the top category in Greece) and it is located in the flattest area of Kavala (Vironas), only 8-min walk from the nearby Rapsani Beach. Casa bianca is located only 8-min walk from the nearby beach (called Rapsani), c.15-min walk from the Archaeological Museum and only 20m walk form the marina and the city’s sea front. There is also a bus station leading to downtown Kavala only 20 meters away. Subject neighborhood is characterized as low-density residential and very safe and quiet. Parking is very easy in the area, although the apartment provides dedicated parking space. In front of the building there is a low-height nursery school allowing open view from the apartment. There is also a Greek-orthodox church in the nearby hill, giving a folklore aspect in the whole neighborhood (you may hear bell ringing on Sunday mornings!).
