Μεγαλώνοντας είδα την Σαντορίνη να μετατρέπεται από ένα όμορφο κυκλαδίτικο νησί σε έναν παγκόσμιο προορισμό. Σήμερα, η συνύπαρξη αυτών των δυο κόσμων αποτελεί το κίνητρο για να μοιραστώ αυτή την εμπειρία μου με τους επισκέπτες της.
Episkopi Gonias, Ελλάδα The village of Episkopi Gonias, at the heart of which Casa Luz is located, is a traditional settlement on the foothills of Profitis Ilias mountain and is depicted on maps as early as 1801. The village derives its name from the previous middle-Byzantine cathedral (Panagia tis Episkopis, the end of the 11th century), the most important Byzantine monument of Santorini. The village was famous for its wine production and old wineries. Today the wineries of Argyros and Roussos are open for visitors. Episkopi Gonias suffered extensive damage caused by an earthquake in 1956. Most of its dwellers abandoned it and settled near the coast, nowadays the village of Kamari. Walking in the narrow streets of the village might lead visitors’ imagination to another era of Santorini.
