Chrysanthi Luxury Villa is a serene retreat located in the picturesque back streets of Salakos, Rhodes. It features a unique first-floor balcony pool and stunning views of the mountains and countryside. The villa includes two double bedrooms, one single bedroom, and two living rooms with double sofa beds, accommodating up to nine guests.
The open-plan ground floor is spacious and elegantly furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen, including a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave and breakfast bench, dining area, and living space that opens onto a patio for al fresco dining. A cozy second living room provides additional seating for family gatherings, and has a sofa bed. There is a ground floor laundry/bathroom with a WC, shower over bath and a washing machine.
Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, all with air conditioning and balcony access. A third living room complete with a log burner and mountain views has a sofa bed can serve as a fifth bedroom. The luxurious bathroom on this floor features a large round jacuzzi bath.
Outside, the first-floor balcony with the fun 4 m x 2m x 1.22m Intex pool is perfect for relaxation, equipped with sun loungers and seating, with views of both the mountains and the sea. The villa also includes off-street parking for two or three cars, and a total of three toilets and two bathrooms, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests.
Chrysanthi and Maria, alongside their family are on hand to assist guests throughout their stay.
Only a few minutes walk from Chrysanthi Luxury Villa, the charming plateia of Salakos is the hub of the village, where locals and visitors come together in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
Three tavernas and and two cafes serve delicious traditional Greek food, and drinks. The village shop provides a great selection of fresh local produce as well as a good selection of groceries and wine, and there is a hotel nearby with a bar.
Salakos is at the crossroads of many of the island's roads making it an ideal location from which to reach all of Rhode's favourite attractions. Diagoras International Airport is only 23kms away, Rhodes Old Town 41kms, and famous Lindos Village is 48 kms away.
The popular holiday resorts of Faliraki, Kolympia and Afandou are a pleasant 45-minute drive, and Kallithea Springs is 43kms away.
Nearer to Salakos the beaches of Kamiros, Kalavarda, and Soroni are only 10-15 minutes by car, some boasting the best kite surfing conditions, while others are ideal for sunbathing on free sunbeds.
The Ancient Kamiros archeological site is 7.4kms and Kritinia Castle 26kms, and many other mountain villages such as the tourist village of Embona are only a short drive.
Salakos is famous for its Christmas Festivals held at the Cave of Makarouna, only a ten-minute walk from Chrysanthi Luxury Villa.
Salakos is also on a popular cycle route.
