"Diogenis Ηouse" is located in a small village of Phaistos Municipality with 35 inhabitants called Plouti, 33 km from Heraklion. The house is on two levels, total area of ​​60 square meters and can accommodate up to 6 people. On the ground floor there is the central living room with fireplace, kitchen, dining room and a wc. Upstairs, we find a single room with a small living room with double bed with wardrobe and the main bathroom with shower. There are also two lofted rooms each with a double bed. Upstairs guests can sit on the beautiful balcony and enjoy the tranquility of the village.

Plouti is a small traditional village with many beauties. Old renovated houses and buildings such as the old school, beautiful picturesque alleys, warm, friendly residents compose a scene of authenticity. At the same time, the traditional Cretan cafe-tavern "The Snails House" offers traditional Cretan recipes made with love by Mrs. Chrysoula. Finally, a particularly important element of the village is Zacharioudakis Organic Winery where guests can have a tour and taste various wines.Due to the geographical location of the village, the visitor can easily and quickly be found at the nearest beach "Kokkinos Pyrgos" for swiiming and in a short time at "Ancient Gortyn" for sightseeing. Also near the village there is the lake of Zaros with its natural springs offering a beautiful scenery. A little bit further (eastern) there is the archeological site Faistos- an ancient city of Crete of great historical value. Furthermore, near there is the famous beach "Matala" where hippies used to leave inside the caves some decades ago. Other beautiful beaches for swimming are Kommos, Ledas, Kaloi Limenes.
