We've enjoyed creating apartments that people will be able to completely relax in, with amazing sea views, modern facilities and peaceful surroundings. All of our apartments are furnished in a simple island style, with large airy rooms, modern kitchens, A/C, WI-FI & private bathrooms. Each apartment has its own private balcony, which offers you a relaxing, shaded spot where you can enjoy the cooling sea breeze. There is also a sheltered sun terrace with loungers if you prefer to sunbathe. We're only 100 meters from Panteli beach, down a private staircase, where you can enjoy a relaxing swim in the Aegean only 2 minutes walk from your apartment. Asterias is located above Panteli bay with panoramic views and we do have stepped access (32 steps down from the road or 72 steps down to the beach). Panteli is known for its stylish cafe-bars and excellent tavernas - and in the evening you can dine right at the waters edge with a stunning backdrop of the windmills and the castle beyond. Asterias makes a great base to explore the undiscovered and beautiful island of Leros, and with our local knowledge of island life we can help make your stay interesting, relaxing and full of great memories.

We discovered Leros purely by chance, after missing our ferry from Patmos, we decided to take a gamble on the next available boat that evening and seeing where it would take us. When we arrived into Lakki harbour late at night, we got our first glimpse of the Rationalist theatre and the wide Italian boulevards.. and were more than a little intrigued. OVER TEN YEARS LATER, WHEN WE FIRST SPOKE ABOUT MOVING TO A GREEK ISLAND.. LEROS WAS THE FIRST PLACE ON OUR LIST. With backgrounds in digital marketing & fashion print design, we both love the Greek islands and particularly Leros. After many years of living and working in London, we decided to come here and make it our home. We hope you enjoy it here as much as we do.

Leros is an undiscovered gem - a unique and authentic island that we have made our home. The `Island of Artemis’ has a fertile and varied landscape ranging from sandy beaches, to olive terraces,pine forests and mountain meadows - all set against the dramatic backdrop of the Turkish coast. Leros is a small island in the Dodecanese with a population of around 7,500 scattered across it’s 2 towns and many villages. It has an interesting past and beautiful architecture along with a secluded beauty that has been lost by some of it’s more developed neighbours.
