The “Syrma” is a small maisonette consisting of two floors. When you open the door on the ground floor, you can go straight to the sea. There are two single beds on the upper floor, the toilet, and the shower. A narrow traditional staircase connects the ground floor with the first floor. There is the kitchen in a separate room on the first floor, and the bedroom opens onto a lovely courtyard with a nice view of the bay, the sea, and the other houses. Lastly, the “Syrma” has zero environmental footprints because all its energy comes from solar panels. This, of course, means that it does not have air-conditioners but has ceiling fans for low energy consumption. The installation and use of air conditioning are unnecessary because it is very cool and airy all year. The water supply is through a tank located just outside the “Syrma” and connected to a small pipe which means that you can consume water, but you have to be very careful with its consumption. The name of the syrma is Eco Sirma Flaris.

Fourkovouni is a small settlement with about 20 houses, located on the water in the bay of Milos in an idyllic place with a pure Cycladic character. Fourkovouni is an area that is close to Plaka, the capital city of Milos, about 5 km. distance. As we reach Fourkovouni, we have passed in front of Plathiena, one of the most stunning beaches of Milos, where you could relax until the late hour to enjoy the sunset because it is Westside. The sun is setting on this beach.
