Hara Monolithos House is located in Monolithos (meaning single rock), a picturesque village on the southwest coast of Rhodes.The cozy two-floor accommodation has two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, two living rooms with a fireplace and a flat screen TV. The dining room opens onto a balcony with stunning views. Outside, there is a small garden with herbs for cooking. The visitor can have breakfast or lunch under the wooden kiosk and enjoy the pool with the breathtaking view. A barbecue and a traditional wood-fired oven are also provided. The property offers two free bicycles to explore the surrounding area. The house has a private parking space.

The village of Monolithos is built on the verdant mountain slopes of Mount Akramitis and is surrounded by nature untouched from the tourist development. The area is the ideal place for hiking where nature lovers can enjoy the mountain air, wild vegetation and panoramic views. The hiking trail ends at "Limeri" cave with historical value in Second World War. Monolithos is renowned for its pristine night skies, where the absence of light pollution makes the village an ideal destination for stargazing and night photography. The city council of Rhodes unanimously approved the support for the inclusion of the community of Monolithos in the network "international dark sky community". Just outside the village is the castle of Monolithοs, a Venetian Castle built by the Knights of Rhodes in 1480 A.D. to protect the area from pirates and enemies. The Castle is now in ruins, but you can reach the top on foot and visit the chapel of Agios Panteleimon. Due to the dominant position of the castle, the view is breathtaking. Close to the castle is Fournoi beach, a quiet sand and pebble beach with a natural environment. Nearby is Aliki beach, a secluded little bay for those who like their privacy. Other places that worth visiting is the unknown gorge of Sideritissa before Sianna and Appollakia’s Dam with a beautiful wetland, unique on the island. The environmental value of the lake resulting from its special flora and fauna included it in the Natura 2000. In the area, there is an adventure park where you can enjoy activities like Zip-Line, Archery, Kayak or SUP and Climbing. In Kimisala, under the shadow of Atavyros and Akramitis, in one place that still preserves its pristine nature, there are remains of ancient settlements with huge archaeological interest. The well-known Prassonissi beach is at about 30 km to the south. The traditional village is easily accessible by car, located 70 km from the city of Rhodes and 58 km from Diagoras International Airport.
