This is a home away from home...unlike a hotel, pension or blocks of apartments...here you can chill out and just be yourselves. Kallimos is a detached house situated on a hill nestled among Cypress and Olive trees. The upper area which has been divided into 2 apartments is available for guests. On the west side we have a one bedroom apartment, new, tastefully decorated and furnished. In the bedroom we have a bed measuring 160cm x200cm. There is a beautiful bathroom, with walk -in shower, the living area boasts a wood burner to welcome winter guests with piles of wood next to the garage. On the east side we have an exciting studio, again with a spacious attractive bathroom. The studio bed measures 180cm x 200cm. You can walk out onto the veranda from 2 places in each flat. Land below the house where the row of Oleander lies is also part of Kallimos. It's a spacious and private property and smoking is strictly forbidden. Its a few minutes drive to the beach, however, here you are away from tourists.

I (Chrystella) am half Greek and half English and Fritz (my husband) is Swiss. We actually live in India! My family bought this property 19 years ago when it was only a couple of years old. However only the ground floor was completed and the gallery in the roof area was just an empty space...until now! We have been coming to Lefkas almost every year. Our 4 children love water sports and our 2 sons have become avid yachtsmen over time. We have now created 2 attractive apartments upstairs which have a seperate entrance. We have a neighbour a small field away who holds the keys when we are not around.

Although Kallimos is situated opposite the village of Kontaraina, it is in walking distance of the celebrated Plane Tree taverna, renowned for traditional Greek food and Greek dancing each Thursday evening. You'll find it on the main road of Kontaraina. You are also not isolated here: we have a neighbour close by.
