Let us introduce ourselves: we are Dimitra & Nicholas and will be your hosts as we run our property personally. We both have an international background through our studies and work. Our work experience expands into various fields (legal, marketing, psychology), all of them in the service sector. We love travelling around the world and due to this we can appreciate the details that can make you feel at home when you are away. We, also, love this property and have put our heart and a lot of energy to develop it, with as much respect as possible to the beautiful environment that is hosting us. As our house is within the property, we are easily accessible and we will be happy to welcome you to our little paradise and attend your personal needs.

Property info

"Lithalona" is situated at Marathia bay. What makes the grounds and the suites unique is their privileged setting: 13,000 sqm with 200m seafront, three private exits to the sea and yet the position is not likely to be seen by the road unless you are visiting. Upon descending the private driveway, what strikes you is the fabulous panoramic view of Marathonisi and the whole bay of Laganas. The view as well as the comfortable surroundings can be enjoyed from any of our many inviting terraces so that one can unwind and relax. The grounds are an olive grove which offers us our own extra virgin olive oil. A big variety of trees and plants, such as lemon, orange, figs, apricots and our vegetable garden can also be found within the property. We will be happy to treat you with our own products according to season. The four suites are scattered throughout the property, all of them built with much respect to the hosting environment and the local architecture. Directly at the entrance of "Lithalona" you can find "Votsalo", one of the best restaurants of the island. Also, on site you can treat yourself to one of many activities such as swimming, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking.

Neighborhood info

Our property is situated in the peaceful and green area of Marathias, which lies within the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, as "Protected Natural Landscape". Within the limits of the park, visitors can engage in turtle spotting during all summer. Our location offers many many swimming possibilities: Lithalona Suites lies directly above Marathias pebbly beach, which is accessible by private exit. Additionally two very mild rock coves, can also be accessible via private exits from the property. By private boat one can visit Marathonisi islet, just in front of us, for its two beautiful beaches or explore the blue caves and numerous secluded turpoise wate bays just around the corner of Marathias. One of the best restaurants of the island is just at our entrance and a second one only 5' on foot. More restaurants and cafes can be found at the fishing harbour of Limni Keri (2 km away), as well as the picturesque mountain village of Keri (6 km away). Keri village is also worth visiting for its famous sunset, its views and its beautiful church. Diving, snorkeling, canoeing, cycling or hiking in some of the walking trails of Marathias are just some easily accessible possibilities.
