Our family's story in Skiathos begins in the early 1950s, when our grandfather, Nikos Armamentos, opened a small tavern by the sea in Koukounaries - at a time when the area was still unexplored, deserted and accessible mainly by boat. Since then, three generations have continued with the same philosophy: personal care, quality and authentic Greek hospitality. For us, every visitor is a guest!

In one of the most beautiful spots on the island, 400 m. from Koukounaries beach, we created a space to make you feel comfortable from the first moment, as if you were in your own cottage just a few steps from the sea. Maistrali Studios Skiathos offers double and triple fully equipped studios, with private balconies and views of the large lush garden, while some enjoy views of Strofylia Lake - a Natura protected wetland, in front of the famous Koukounaries beach. Maistrali Studios Skiathos is 16' (11km) by car from Skiathos Town and the public transport stop is right in front of our accommodation.

From Maistrali Studios Skiathos you have direct access to some of the most impressive beaches of Skiathos. Close by are the beloved beaches of Koukounaries, Ambelakia and Megali Banana, with turquoise, crystal clear and shallow waters, golden sand, ideal for families and relaxing moments. Next to them are the beaches of Agia Eleni and Mikri Banana, ideal for a younger crowd. Furthermore, the location of Maistrali Studios Skiathos is an ideal starting point to discover the most quiet and unexplored beaches of the western and northern sides of the island - natural landscapes with wild beauty and turquoise waters, such as Kryfi Ammos, Mandraki, Elias, Agkistros, Megalos and Mikros Aselinos. In the area there are marked hiking trails (skiathostrails.com), access to Lake Strofilia, organized horse tours, opportunities for fishing lessons, snorkelling, scuba diving, water skiing and games. The Skiathos Dog Welfare Association shelter is a 10-minute drive away and can be combined with a visit to the unique Holy Monastery of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary - Panagia Ikonistrias, one of the holiest places on the island.
