Στο Mariya αγαπάμε την τέχνη, σεβόμαστε την φύση και θαυμάζουμε τους θετικούς ανθρώπους Η ιδιοκτήτρια του Mariya Art Living, Μαρία Μπακανιάρη, νιώθει ως ντόπια καθώς είναι κάτοικος της περιοχής -κατά την διάρκεια του καλοκαιριού- από παιδί. Δυο χρονιά πριν αποφάσισε να ανακαινίσει πλήρως μια παλιά εξοχική κατοικία, φτιάχνοντας το σημερινό πλέον Mariya Art Living. Ως φιλότεχνη αλλά και εικαστικός η ίδια, ευελπιστεί να δώσει μια διαφορετική προοπτική στον χώρο της φιλοξενίας. Κύρια πηγή έμπνευσης, αποτέλεσε το φυσικό περιβάλλον της περιοχής, αντλώντας στοιχεία και μοτίβα από υποθαλάσσια και υπέργεια τοπία. Η αντιπαραβολή των στοιχείων αυτών, οδήγησε σε μια σειρά έργων (σχέδια σε χαρτί ή καμβά, γλυπτά και χειροποίητες σύγχρονες κατασκευές )ειδικά σχεδιασμένα για το Mariya Art Living. Βλέποντας το Mariya Art Living ως κάτι «ζωντανό», σχεδιάζει να φιλοξενήσει και έργα άλλων καλλιτεχνών, ανανεώνοντας διαρκώς τον χώρο αυτό που έχει επιμεληθεί η ίδια της από την πρώτη στιγμή. To Mariya Art Living, βρίσκεται σε απόσταση 800 μέτρων από το παράκτιο τουριστικό χωριό της Νέας Σκιώνης που είναι απλωμένο κατά μήκος της αμμώδους ακτής, στο νότιο κομμάτι της χερσονήσου της Κασσάνδρας, στην Χαλκιδική. Η γύρω περιοχή, διακρίνεται για την πλούσια βλάστηση και αποτελεί ιδανική επιλογή για τον επισκέπτη που έχει ανάγκη από ηρεμία, χαλάρωση, και ιδιωτικότητα. Σε απόσταση 60 μέτρων από το συγκρότημα, βρίσκεται μια από τις πιο καθαρές γαλάζιες παραλίες της Κασσάνδρας, καθώς, η πιο κοντινή οργανωμένη πλαζ είναι της Νέας Σκιώνης.
