A traditionally-built, independent house for two. 15 min. drive from Mykonos town, in the center of the island, 5 min. from the most famous beaches. Explore the true character of Mykonos in a beautiful setting with spectacular views. Cosy & tasteful. Built in the traditional mykonian way, this little house has all the essential comforts. It consists of a double bedroom with cupboard, a fully-renovated bathroom with shower, a sitting room and open-plan kitchen with fridge, stove, filter coffee machine & toaster. There is a private terrace overlooking the garden with sea view where one can relax and enjoy the sun! You are at the heart of Mykonos!
Hi, my name is Vangelis (Evangelos in greek means the bearer of good news). I am a teacher of greek language (modern and ancient) but my real passion lies in the kitchen! My life is filled with books, art and music (mostly classical) and I am always open to new ideas and projects. The listing I share with you is the result of a lifelong passion with Mykonos, its natural beauty and unique ambience. I believe that hospitality comes naturally to me!
The house is located on a slope overseeing the sea. There are a few other private houses in the vicinity but with no eye contact. The house is surrounded by fields, with the occasional flock of sheep or cows. The privacy of the guest is guaranteed. The village, where there is a bus service to town, is a 10 min. walk from the house. One can find fine traditional greek cuisine at the village square! Be part of a myth!
