Step out onto your balcony and the whole bay is yours — the arc of the shore, the castle on the headland, the sea changing colour through the day. The apartment is bright and simply furnished: everything you need, nothing you don't. A proper kitchen, a comfortable bed, good linen. The balcony is where you'll spend most of your time — morning coffee, afternoon reading, the long Aegean evenings. Two units of this type are available. Each sleeps up to four guests.

Our roots in this beautiful corner of the world run deep. Our parents, Jack and Georgia, were born and raised just a few kilometers away in the traditional village of Malona. In 1956, they made the life-changing journey to migrate to Adelaide, Australia, carrying with them a tight-knit work ethic and an enduring connection to their homeland. No matter how far they traveled, the pulling power of Rhodes never left them. In 1984, they returned to the island they loved to build the original foundation of these apartments right here on the shores of Haraki Beach. They wanted to create a space where travelers could experience the authentic rhythm of Greek island life. A New Chapter Today, the legacy continues through their only child, Emanuel (known warmly as Manoli to the locals in Haraki). To honor what Jack and Georgia built, we made the decision in 2025 to completely reimagine the property for the modern traveler. Over modernizing every detail, we stripped the space back and undertook a complete, top-to-bottom renovation, officially completing the project in early 2026.

What makes Haraki Beach truly special is its ability to feel like a well-kept secret, preserving the quiet, nostalgic soul of the Dodecanese that many modern resort towns have lost. Sweeping across a perfect, horseshoe-shaped bay, this tranquil fishing village offers a rare blend of dramatic history and slow-paced coastal living. Towering over the northern edge of the bay are the rugged, sun-bleached ruins of the medieval Feraklos Castle, which light up majestically at night, serving as a reminder of the island’s rich past while guarding the peaceful waters below. Instead of massive hotel complexes and roaring traffic, Haraki is defined by its intimate, pedestrian-only promenade lined with family-run tavernas, where the catch of the day is brought straight from the wooden fishing boats to your plate. The beach itself features crystal-clear, calm waters that are ideal for swimming, transitioning beautifully from soft sand to smooth pebbles. It is a destination built for the art of doing nothing - where the loudest sound you hear is the gentle lapping of the Aegean Sea against the shore, making it the ultimate sanctuary for travelers looking to experience peace and calm.
