 Olvio House stands in a prime position on the charming coastal road in Sami village. It was carefully renovated with imaginative and modern interpretation of Mediterranean living. The clean white colours, natural materials and simplicity, will ensure you to relax in comfort. The house consists of two bedrooms with high quality furniture, mattresses and bedding. The second bedroom has a private wardrobe room and en-suite shower-WC. The twin beds can be converted to a double bed. The living area has fabulous sea views from all of the windows, and includes two relaxing sofas that can sleep two children and a second shower-WC. The open-plan, fully equipped kitchen and dining area (with a table for 6) are ideally positioned with openings to the terrace, where there is a second dining area. Perfect for self-catering you can enjoy your meals or drinks inside, or on the cosy outdoor terrace while enjoying the beautiful views! New addition for 2026 is a small first-floor terrace to enjoy more privacy and better sea views!

My name is Christiana, I am an archaeologist living mainly in Athens. Olvio is my family house, one of the oldest houses in the town of Sami, that I renovated with a lot of love and care in 2019. My aim is to warmly welcome my guests and create a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. The furniture, equipment and decoration are selected with extra care to provide you with luxury and comfort. Olvio House is located in an ideal spot for those that don't want to hire a car and just have relaxing holidays by the beach, in a walking distance from several restaurants and services, witnessing the daily village life. But even for those coming to Kefalonia to explore, this is an ideal base to explore it from north to south. The town of Sami is a picturesque port, offering both direct ferry routes to the mainland, Ithaka and Italy. Sami has all you need from a pharmacy and a medical center, to ATMs, a post office, police, coastguard and a fire department. The harbor hosts ferries, yachts, daily cruises, fishing boats and leisure vessels to rent. There are a plenty of shops to buy souvenirs and jewellery, supermarkets and grocery stores and a wide variety of tavernas, restaurants and bars. Sandy Sami beach is 200 m away where you can relax and enjoy the sun and sea. Most of the best attractions of the island are within 5 km, like Famous Antisamos beach, Melissani Lake, Karavomylos Lake, Drogarati Cave. Agia Efimia is just 7 km away and well known Myrtos just 14 km away. Mount Ainos and the capital Argostoli are 25 km away.
