Experience the traditional Santorinian way of living at the picturesque village of Pyrgos, which has 360° breathtaking view of Thira and the famous volcano. In keeping with tradition history and conservation of the village, Elena's Cave House maintains the bold architecture that forms the unique Cycladic landscape. The Cave House is modernized to an incredibly high standard to suit all of your requirements so you will be offered a distinctive and memorable stay. Before the invention of modern structures, thanks to the characteristic topography of Santorini and its volcanic ground, the inhabitants of the island used to burrow dens into the mountain. Practically they were forming cave houses so they and their families could live safely and comfortably. Our recently renovated contemporary apartment offers elegantly decorated accommodation, with free high end fiber optic Wi-Fi and a great balcony view. It is a unique experience, perfect for people who wish to relax in a peaceful village but are always willing to seek new experiences, while exploring the island of Santorini, the volcanic area and all their beauties.
Eleni, our manager, is an active tour guide in Santorini for the past 5 years so besides accommodation, she will gladly help you with everything you might need, like where to eat, what to visit or even which wines tastes best!
We are centrally located within the village of Pyrgos, in a walking distance, 5' of the main square, where you can find everything you need, from restaurants and cafeterias to supermarkets and gift shops.
