The SILO STONE HOUSE is situated at Fihtia village, just 2 klms from the archeological site of Mycenae. Built on a small hill next to the graphic chapel of Saint Ilias , it offers an undisturbed view of the Argolic plain all the way to the Argolic gulf , as well as the Acropolis of Mycenae , of Argos ( Larisa castle, ancient theater) and Nafplio ( Palamidi castle, Mpourtzi island castle, Old Town ) The holiday home consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace and a flat screen tv , air condition, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, electric stove, coffee machine…) and 1 bathroom with a bath and free toiletries. Through the double screen balcony door you can walk out in the sun terrace and enjoy the view as well as the BBQ facilities or go hiking around the house and the nearby chapel.
The furnishing and the building of the house is made out of reclaimed materials and architectural salvage. The project is entirely designed by SILO ART FACTORY in a combination of traditional housing with a modern touch.
The residence is perched on a small hill and is reachable via a 200-meter farm road, offering quick car access to the Acropolis of Mycenae. The archaeological wonders of Argos and the picturesque city of Nafplio are 11 kilometers and 21 kilometers away, respectively. The charming town of Nemea, renowned for its vineyards and the ancient stadium, is located 15 kilometers from the property. Additionally, the historic Epidaurus Theater is 44 kilometers distant. For air travel, the closest options are Athens' Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, 147 kilometers away, and Kalamata Airport, at a distance of 127 kilometers.
