Summer holidays / Winter retreat The family-run Skizenas Waterfront Apartments, offer one bedroom apartments with views over the Aegean Sea. Breakfast, lunch, dinner can be enjoyed on a private balcony. Recently renovated. Inside the apartment there is a separate bedroom ( double bed), open lounge and dining area, large screen TV, sofa ( extra pull-out bed), full kitchen (oven / fridge) and bathroom with a rain shower. An air conditioning unit in the bedroom and the loungeroom for cooling in summer and warmth in winter. Charaki is a little piece of paradise. In summer its island life at its best for singles, couples and families.While you can brave the cooler water temperatures to swim in winter, summer is the perfect time to lay on the beach, swim in the ocean. All the restaurants, cafeteria,,supermarkets are open. In winter it makes the ideal restful getaway or writer’s retreat. It feels like you have the place to yourself, most businesses are closed which means it’s you, the sounds of the ocean and some friendly locals and a cafeteria 2 min walk away. Ideal for digital nomads as it has strong reliable Wi-Fi or disconnect and take a break from it all.

Our apartments remain open all the year. Our summer season runs from April to October and winter stays from November to March annually. A car is essential to visit larger supermarkets (a local one is open in summer as are all the waterfront amenities) enjoy the local towns, ancient sites and other beaches on the island as well as making the trip to and from the airport. (I can recommend a car rental if you’re not sure who to book with) At winter there are few shops open to serve you, so you can visit the surrounding villages (five- ten minutes distance time). Whenever you visit, Skizenas waterfront apartments will be your home away from home but with a helpful host (servicing the apartments) and all the delights of a Greek beach holiday or retreat
