There is also a child-friendly sandy bay called Saint Andreas about 300 meters away. The sea in front of the apartments is a bit rocky in the beginning but then it gets sandy. In the opposite direction, about 50 meters, adults can also enjoy the sun beds provided. The Apartments’ location is ideal, just a short walk from the center of Ierapetra and shops. In fact you can reach the main pedestrian promenade within a 5 minutes’ walk along the seashore. Thalassa Apartments are extremely clean and comfortable. There are nicely furnished and decorated with attention to detail. Each apartment’s kitchen is fully equipped, with both dishwasher and washing machine available. There is a large fridge with the freezer, so you can stock up ingredients if you like home cooking. You will also find bed linen and towels impressively clean. The mattresses of the beds and the beddings are so comfortable that you will have a great sleep. AC is available in every room. Wi-Fi speed and coverage is excellent. Basically each apartment is equipped with everything you need. Most of the guests prefer to sunbathe on the spacious veranda. They relax by the patios that are full with garden flowers, butterflies and colors. The backyard is equipped with playground with swings, table tennis, and safe Kids zone, which add to your enjoyment. Plenty of secure car parking is right in front of the property and off the street. The nearby family-run tavern, Klio, offers excellent service and delicious food. It is a good base to discover the eastern part of Crete including Agios Nikolaos, Sitia and Vai as well as the Lasithi Plateau.
