It never ceases to amaze those who seek a lovely little shopping or dining experience. Take a shady stroll under the pines to the Venetian lighthouse with a stunning view of the harbour. The nearby beaches are renowned for their crystal-clear waters - Emblisi, Foki, Dafnoudi, Kimilia, Alaties - and further away, Myrtos, which, along with the underground lake of Melissani, offer the most impressive and exquisite images of Kefalonia. Throni was designed and decorated by its owner, an interior designer who is responsible for many of the most beautiful residences on the island.
