We are Anika and Markus and live in Langenselbold, near Frankfurt am Main. As passionate sailors, we were drawn to the Ionian Sea several years ago. At first, it was “just” the beautiful harbors that enchanted us – Assos, Fiskardo, Sami, Agia Efimia, and Poros. Places where you dock, take a deep breath, and think: this is where the world still feels right. But with each journey, more grew than just the anticipation of the next sailing trip. We fell in love with this green island – with the country, the people, their culture, and that special positive energy you cannot explain; you simply have to feel it. The combination of turquoise waters, quiet bays, lively beaches, and unspoiled nature captivated us completely. Our desire to spend more time here became stronger and stronger. We didn’t just want to return – we wanted to stay. And eventually, our dream came true with the purchase of Villa Aniley. It is this special place that we would now love to share with our guests.

Our Villa Aniley is located in the picturesque village of Ratzakli in the sunny south of Kefalonia – centrally positioned, peaceful, and perfect for explorers and those seeking relaxation. Just a few minutes away, you will find expansive and beautiful beaches such as Mounda and Kaminia, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and long walks along the shore. A short drive takes you to lively Katelios Beach with its long stretch of sand and pebbles, as well as a wonderful selection of beachfront restaurants, bars, and traditional tavernas – perfect for a sundowner dinner overlooking the sea. The popular seaside resort of Skala, offering additional restaurants, cafés, and shopping facilities, is also nearby. Kefalonia International Airport can be reached in approximately 35–40 minutes by car, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your holiday. Within walking distance of the villa, you will find a traditional taverna with a small mini market – ideal for a morning espresso or fresh regional specialties without having to travel far.
