My name is Nikos, and I am married to Dimokratia, with whom we have two children. I work at the Hellenic Center for Marine Research in Souda, while my wife works as an accountant in a large hotel in Chania. I really enjoy football and mountain biking, while Dimokratia loves going for walks. As you might guess, the villa was named after my wife, who inherited it from her grandmother, following Greek tradition. In fact, her grandmother was christened by Eleftherios Venizelos' driver. Dimokratia’s parents gifted us the house, which we decided to rent out in 2015. Our goal is for our guests to enjoy the villa’s facilities, experience genuine Greek hospitality, and have an unforgettable holiday with us. We look forward to meeting you and hosting you!

Dimokratia Villa located in Kolimvari area, Chania. A perfect position to explore the west Crete island with many popular sandy beaches just a few minutes drive from the villas and just 1.5km from the nearest beach. Ideal spot to relax and enjoy the Greek sun, hospitality and the lovely sandy beaches. Dimokratia villa, constructed in a serene natural landscape full of trees and colorful flowers and just 1.5km from the nearest beach, it is great for enjoying the relaxation and the luxury in your holidays. It is very close to two of the most wonderful beaches in Crete, Falasarna Beach and Balos Beach. Kolymvari town, 1km from Dimokratia villa, is a small touristy resort of Western Crete. Kolymvari village is located on the main coastal road. Kolymvari has few shopping stores, very good restaurants and tavernas, few cafes and various accommodations. Kolymvari has a calm nightlife but you can enjoy a peaceful village atmosphere and you can treat yourself with the Cretan sun and local hospitality.
